My name is Alex, and my camera is my compass. I define myself as a traveler and an explorer first, and a photographer second. For me, photography isn’t the end goal—it’s the means to understand the world and to tell the stories I discover along the way.

My quest is not for the perfect image, but for the authentic moment. That unrepeatable instant that holds an emotion, a truth, a connection. This drive has pushed me to travel across Europe, immersing myself in customs and traditions far from my daily life, while also documenting the raw, powerful energy of riots and demonstrations. From the silence of a landscape to the roar of a public square, I seek humanity in all its forms.

This journey has brought me immense satisfaction and recognition. I’ve had the honor of exhibiting my work in my hometown of Pisa, and the joy of winning a competition that led to an exhibition in Milan. A major milestone came this past year, with the incredible thrill of having my work featured twice on National Geographic’s “Your Shot” platform.

All the experience I gain in the field—the ability to anticipate a moment in a crowded square, the patience to wait for the perfect light in a landscape, the empathy needed to connect with a stranger’s face—I bring into my professional work.
